Allen Huffman July 2010 Dear Potential Employer and Friend: On July 9, 2010, my current employer announced it would be restructuring and eliminating 3800 jobs, including 1000 in my area. It sounded like a good time to update my resume... While I am certainly happy to continue sitting in a cubicle doing software engineering, programming, technical support or training, I'd also like to offer some other less common skills. Perhaps you occasionally need internal (or external) training videos. Maybe you don't want to be the last organization without it's own podcast, either for external promotional use or internal employee training. Does your company need a newsletter for a special event? Maybe you could just use someone around who can be a creative "Jack of all trades." Whatever your needs, I am ready to learn new applications and job duties as I always have in the past.
